Biography

Creative director, choreographer, stage director, dancer, performer and teacher, with over 25 years of professional experience across both national and international artistic landscapes. Holding a Master’s degree in Choreographic Creation and a postgraduate degree in Management from NOVA Business & Economics School, she develops an authorial body of work defined by the fusion of dance, theatre, technology and contemporary thought — exploring the body as a space for narrative, transformation and visual impact.

Throughout her career, she has led the creative direction and choreography of numerous works, including SMILE, TIME, MEMÓRIAS de um Povo, DUEL’IRTUAL, EMO’IRTUAL, AI.IA, Transcend, CEGUEIRA, U_REALITIES, THE JOURNEY MAN, as well as the immersive performances VORTEXXX and HOTEL EDADREBIL I & II. Her work is distinguished by the creation of intense, immersive and conceptually rich scenic universes. In parallel, she has choreographed several musicals and theatre productions, including CHICAGO (Teatro da Trindade), MÃES, A MADRUGADA QUE EU ESPERAVA, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, as well as CASIMIRO and CAROLINA (directed by Carlos Avilez), TWELFTH NIGHT, THE BOOK of PANTAGRUEL and THE HIDDEN ONE.

In the media landscape, she has choreographed for television programs such as So You Think You Can Dance, Portugal’s Got Talent, Let’s Dance, Dancing with the Stars and Aqui Há Talento, as well as for musical artists and audiovisual projects. She has also collaborated creatively and as a performer in several video-dance films, some of which have received international awards.

As a performer, she has been part of large-scale productions, notably performing with Cirque du Soleil in MICHAEL JACKSON – The Immortal World Tour, and more recently in FREE YOUR MIND – The Matrix Now… in the United Kingdom. She has also worked as a dancer with renowned companies such as Sonya Tayeh Dance Company (USA), Boy Blue (UK), Ballet de Mim (UK), IMPACT Dance, Dance 2XS, Plague, Abstractin’ Dance Company and 3F – Funky for Fun (PT).

She is the creative director, stage director and choreographer of the artistic creation and mediation projects Mind Meets Body and VORTEXXX, where she intersects artistic research, performance, technology and collaborative processes. With a strong pedagogical dimension, she has been teaching for over 20 years, delivering training across various artistic institutions in Portugal and the United Kingdom.

Her work is distinguished by the ability to merge technical rigor, artistic vision and innovation, establishing her as a key creator within the dialogue between dance, performance, cultural mediation and contemporary artistic languages.
